Unsubscription statistics per shipment: more visibility, better decisions

Until now, unsubscription statistics were cumulative and general. But that has changed.

With the new functionality of Unsubscription statisticsyou can see in detail:

  • How many users unsubscribed for each shipment.
  • Through which channel they expressed their intention to unsubscribe.

What does this functionality allow?

  • Access specific unsubscription data by message.
  • Know the origin of each unsubscription (direct link, spam report, via supplier, manual request).
  • Make better informed decisions about your contact base and content.

How to access?

  1. Go to Reports > Bulk mailings > View individual reports.
  2. Choose the shipment you wish to analyze.
  3. Within the report, click on the new tab Unsubscriptions.

There you will see a breakdown by type of leave:

  • MasterUnsubscribeClick on the link in the message.
  • FeedbackLoopThe recipient marked the message as spam.
  • List-Unsubscribe: click on links generated by mail providers.
  • Manual unsubscriptionContact removed through the support team at the user's request.

MasterBase® respects and records each unsubscription, ensuring that unsubscribed contacts are never sent messages again.

Display and functionality features

Allows you to review the unsubscription statistics in the Individual shipment report.

It is accessed by following the route Reports > Bulk mailings > View individual reports:

This tab contains the statistics of the unsubscriptions made from this particular message, with details of the method used by the message recipients to unsubscribe (MasterUnsubscribe®, FeedBackLoops, ListUnsubscribe, manual).

There are different ways by which a contact expresses to us the intention to unsubscribe to messages from a particular sender. The MasterBase® systems will consider in future mailings this express declaration, preventing the sending to that contact and including it as such in the corresponding unsubscription report.

These various unsubscription routes are reflected in this detail:

  1. Unsubscribe by MasterUnsubscribe®: The contact unsubscribed by clicking on the MasterUnsubscribe® link that the sender included in that particular message.
  2. Unsubscription by FeedbackLoop: The contact marked the message as SPAM in their email provider (Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo).
  3. Unsubscribe by List-Unsubscribe: The contact clicked on the unsubscribe link that some mail providers have incorporated in their interface for certain mailings from certain senders.
  4. Manual unsubscription: The contact was marked as unsubscribed by MasterBase®, following a request to that effect made by the holder of that mailbox to our Customer Service.

The type of shipment does not matter: Every day that passes, the need to have the possibility of unsubscribing from incoming mailings is growing among email recipients, regardless of their nature. For this reason, MasterBase® has this functionality that can be included in mass mailings (commercial or marketing), as well as in single mailings (transactional and behavioral).
