Did you know that there is a tool to create graphs?

That's right! Among the tools that Masterbase® has made available to us is Graph, which allows us to represent data in a figure that can contain one or more graphs, which can also be exported in various formats for easy use.

How do we achieve this? First of all, in previous steps of our process we must search for and collect the data we want to expose. It is important to emphasize that, in order to make effective use of Graph, it is essential to have a thorough understanding of the data we want to graph and the message we want to convey.

Once we have the data series, which we declare as input to the process, the tool transforms them into graphs that it delivers as a stream, i.e., it leaves them stored in the process memory to be later taken by another step of the same process.

This representation can take different forms, for example, line graphs, bar charts, dot plots, pie charts or others. This is because the Graph tool allows us to choose the type of graph that best suits our data and our communication objectives. It also makes it possible to choose, within several options, the color palette that best matches the design.

To visualize the graphs in different formats, such as documents, email messages, presentations or other contexts, it is necessary to use another tool in a later step, for example, FileBunker, a tool that saves the file in the cloud and provides the URL where it is stored. But the tool we use to visualize and integrate the graphics generated by Graph, in the desired formats for their use and distribution, will depend on the needs we seek to satisfy.

For the creators, it is very important to offer users different options for viewing data, and that is where the importance of the Graph tool lies, as it makes it possible to visualize data in a clear and tangible way, for informed and safe decision making.
