IAM Security Events is now also available for Enterprise Machine

The ability to log, centralize, and preserve identification and access events expands its scope and is incorporated into the Enterprise Machine segment of MasterBase®.

As an organization grows, it is not only the volume of its processes that increases, but also the number of systems, devices, users, and access points that are part of its operations.

For this reason , MasterBase® organizes its portfolio into three segments that correspond to different levels of operational complexity: Business Engine, Enterprise Machine, and Corporate System.

Until now, IAM Security Events was available in Corporate System. The new development is that this capability has been extended to Enterprise Machine.

Three segments for different operations

Business Engine It corresponds to the Small Business tier of the portfolio. It is designed for organizations that are structuring their operations and need to streamline processes, ensure continuity, and begin implementing capabilities using automata.

Enterprise Machine This corresponds to the Enterprise level. Here, the needs are different: the organization must coordinate multiple systems, teams, and processes, with greater volume and complexity. Automata connect systems, react to events, and maintain workflows between different parts of the organization.

Corporate System This falls under the Corporate level, where operations take place on a larger scale and continuity, control, and governance take on particular importance.

The progression from Business Engine to Enterprise Machine to Corporate System therefore reflects different contexts and levels of operational capacity.

What Does IAM Security Events Do?

IAM Security Events is a Critical System in the Control category. Its function is to log identification and access events to maintain visibility into a fundamental aspect of operations: who has access, what happens, and what evidence is available.

Using automated systems, IAM Security Events records, centralizes, and preserves identification and access events. Thus, the recording and analysis of access events can be carried out as a continuous process within the organization, and each event can serve as verifiable evidence for security, auditing, and compliance.

This makes it possible to detect anomalies through continuous event analysis, provide structured evidence for audits, maintain access traceability, and centralize information for incident investigations.

What's Changing for Enterprise Machine

The addition of IAM Security Events to Enterprise Machine extends this capability to organizations whose operations already require the coordination of multiple systems, teams, and processes.

In this context, identity verification and access are part of an increasingly interconnected process. Events can originate in different systems and accumulate as the number of involved parties increases.

IAM Security Events enables the incorporation of continuous monitoring capabilities into this operation: logging authentication, authorization, and user activity events, centralizing them, and preserving evidence for later analysis. In addition, it alerts users to activity on their accounts, allowing them to identify access attempts or actions they do not recognize and thereby contributing to the early detection of potential unauthorized access.

For Enterprise Machine, this means expanding control over an operation that is growing in volume and complexity without having to wait until reaching the Corporate System level to gain this capability.

More Control for a Connected Operation

Enterprise Machine is designed for organizations that need to continuously coordinate complex processes by connecting systems, teams, and operations.

The availability of IAM Security Events in this segment provides a capability directly related to that reality: maintaining visibility and traceability of identification and access events as the operation expands.

In this way, the organization can incorporate anomaly detection, verifiable evidence for audits, access traceability, and incident investigation into its ongoing operations.
