\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tGenerally, a solution is composed of one or more processes. However, it is important to keep in mind that there are different types of processes for different needs.\n\nHere are two very powerful process formats:\n

Active process<\/h2>\nThe active process is one that is in permanent operation and that, according to a time configuration, will ask again and again to a database if there is any record in pending status to be taken and worked. If it finds any, it starts processing; otherwise, it pauses and asks again after the configured time.\n\nA relevant example in many areas is collection, an area in which an invoice must be sent to customers on a recurring basis for extended periods of time. Therefore, the active process will ask the database every certain time (determined in the process) if there is a record with pending status to send the invoice for collection. The process actively performs this action over and over again according to the established time frame.\n

Automaton on demand<\/h2>\nOn the other hand, there is a type of process called automaton on demand (AOD), which operates only when it is required, i.e. when an action (the query) has been performed that activates it to execute its work and deliver the result.\n\nAn example of this is when a customer completes a form and, upon pressing the submit button, this AOD is executed and triggers a confirmation notification, notifying that the form has been successfully received.\n\nBoth the active process and the AOD have their respective segments to insert steps and tasks, the big difference is that the AOD also has a segment to provide answers or results immediately whenever required.\n\nBoth types of processes are valid for configuring your solutions, you just have to evaluate which one best suits your requirements.\n\nWe invite you to create solutions using the tools provided by MasterBase\u00ae and to test these two types of processes to efficiently and effectively configure your solutions.\n\n\"\"<\/a>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
